I bought the Amby Swing in 2007 for my grandson who had acid reflux and woke up crying a lot. They are not cheap, and it ended up we did not even use it, then I heard about this recall and maybe it is a good thing we did not use it. I have tried calling and emailing also during the days and times posted on their AmbyBaby.com website and get no reply, phone number answering machine says no one can answer now and you cannot leave a message. I was hoping to get a refund, but it doesn’t sound very promising, and I don’t want a repair kit. It has been in the bag for 2 1/2 years! I thought about selling it to someone, but with the recall, I may not even want to do that either.

The number Amby provides has been disconnected and no response to the e-mails I have sent!Shouldn’t they be required to do something about this?! I for one will be extremely surprised if there are any kits,refunds or anything from Amby!

What is the progress with Amby Canada. They are not answering emails or telephone calls. We require a full and immediate refund for this dangerous and defective product they have sold us.\

We purchased this bed for our 5 month old and immediately moved him out into a play pen.
We have contacted AmbyBaby Canada and surprise surprise, they seem to be plugging their ears and humming loudly.
These things aren’t exactly cheap and they have specifically told us that they are not providing any refunds. I didn’t pay hundreds for only 5 months of use and now we are losing sleep because he’s not accustomed to sleeping in a ‘bed’.

It is very unfortunate that those two babies died while sleeping in the Amby Baby Motion Bed. I couldn’t imagine what the parents are going through. However, I would like to know more about the incidents. I imagine the reason no one can find more information on them is due to the lawsuit, which doesn’t allow parents to make informed decisions.

Also, they suggest everyone stop using them immediately and switch to a safer alternative. What’s the safer alternative? In the past two years, CPSC has announced the recall of over 5 million cribs, bassenets and play yards. That sounds much more safe (please sense the sarcasm here)!
