Toro Snowblower and Lawnmower Recall Issued Due to Fuel Leaks

About 23,000 Toro Power Clear Snowblowers and more than 6,000 Toro Recycler lawn mowers have been recalled due to a potential risk of fuel leaks, burns and fires.

The Toro snowblower and lawnmower recall was announced on April 26 by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, after about 500 reports were received where the carburetor leaked.

According to the CPSC, the carburetors may leak fuel, which could be ignited if it gets close to an ignition source, posing a fire and burn risk for consumers. So far there have been no injury reports related to the defective Toro carburetors.
