Krylon “Outdoor Spaces” UV Fabric Protector Spray Recall

Sherwin-Williams and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission have announced a fabric protector spray recall for Krylon “Outdoor Spaces” aerosol coating. Exposure to the spray could cause serious respiratory injury for consumers.

Approximately 75,000 cans of the recalled Krylon “Outdoor Spaces” UV Fabric Protector spray were sold between January 2006 and September 2008 at Wal-Mart, Ace Hardware and other retail stores throughout the United States.

The aerosol spray was sold by Sherwin-Williams in 11-ounce cans under the “KRYLON” label. The front of the can features a picture of outdoor patio furniture with “Outdoor Spaces” and “UV Fabric Protector” printed on the label. They contain UPC Code 724504029007 and part number 2900 printed on the side of the can.

Could not find this product anywhere. Best uv protector I have ever used. Must have bought Walmart's last cans. Flags that I fly 24/7/365 usually last one year before looking poor due to UV. Sprayed both sides with UV Fabric Protector and the flags lasted 3 years! I'll buy it brush or spray. I have 5 spray guns, can blow it on. Bummer it is N.A.. Color me looking for a similar product.
