Britax Stroller Recall Issued Following Dozens of Injury Reports Involving Children February 17, 2017 Russell Maas Add Your CommentsMore than 700,000 car seat strollers have been recalled by federal safety officials following more than 1,300 consumer complaints indicating the receiver mount on the stroller can disengage, causing the car seat to fall unexpectedly, posing fall and injury hazards to children.ย The Britax B-Agile and BOB Motion Strollers recall was announced by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) on February 16, following 1,337 reports of strollers with damaged Click & Go receiver mounts. To date, the agency has received 33 reports of the car seats unexpectedly disconnecting from the strollers and falling to the ground, resulting in 26 reported injuries including scratches, bruises, cuts, and bumps to the head.The strollers being recalled are equipped with a Click & Go receiver mount that allows the infant’s car seat to attach to the stroller for mobility.
