Asbestos Exposure Lawsuit Filed Against Harrah’s in Las Vegas
A former worker who claims that he and his three-year old son have suffered injuries due to exposure to asbestos has filed a lawsuit against Harrah’s Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The asbestos exposure lawsuit was filed by Eric Savannah, alleging that his work at the hotel as an engineer affected both him and his son, Nico. The complaint came after inspections by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) found numerous violations at the hotel over asbestos safety procedures.
Exposure to asbestos is known to cause a number of ailments, including mesothelioma cancer and asbestosis, as well as other diseases. Second-hand asbestos exposure is also a known danger, as employees who work around asbestos can bring fibers home on their clothes and in their hair, which family members unknowingly inhale or consume.
