Lululemon Athletica Tops Recalled Due to Drawstring Injury Risk

Almost 320,000 Lululemon women’s tops with elastic draw cords have been recalled, after the manufacturer received reports indicating the draw cords may snap back toward the consumers, resulting in injuries to the face and eyes.
The Lululemon Athletica top recall was announced by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission on June 25, following at least 7 customers complaints indicating the elastic draw cords with a hard tip around the hood and neck area snapped back and hit the consumer when pulled or caught on something
Consumers may face a risk of serious injury to the face or eyes from the hard tips on the draw strings. If these cords are pulled and released by accident or accidentally caught on an object and released, it could cause serious injuries to the eyes, teeth, and face.
