The FDA has issued repeated warning about serious health risks from Neptune's Fix and other dietary supplements containing tianeptine over the last two years.
Neptune's Fix recall has been issued and the FDA has sent warning letters to gas stations and convenience stores, asking them to remove all tianeptine-based supplements from from shelves.
Researchers recommend doctors ask mothers about dietary supplement the are using, due to the risk of neonatal abstinence syndrome (NAS).
Often sold at convenience stores and gas stations, the dietary supplement has been linked to serious drug side effects, addiction and death.
