The FDA has issued a warning to notify consumers that they should not use the dietary supplement Venom Hyperdrive 3.0, as it contains an undeclared drug which could cause serious injury or lead to addiction and abuse.

FDA laboratory analysis has shown that samples of Venon Hyperdrive 3.0 contain a significant amount of sibutramine, which is a controlled substance used in certain prescription appetite suppressant medications.

As an undeclared ingredient in the dietary supplement, sibutramine may cause serious injury by increasing blood pressure and heart rate, posing a particularly significant risk for people with a history of heart disease, heart failure, irregular heart beats or stroke.

Venom Hyperdrive 3.0, which is manufactured by Applied Lifescience Research Industries, Inc. (ALR Industries), was sold throughout the United States through distributors and retail stores. It is packaged in red plastic bottles with 90 capsules each, containing UPC#094922534743.

ALR Industrieis initiated a Venom Hyperdrive recall on December 24, 2008. Although a notice posted on their website only indicated that “trace amounts” of sibutramine where found in the product, the FDA has contradicted this statement calling their findings a “significant amount.”

Consumers who have purchased Venom Hyperdrive 3.0 have been urged to stop taking it immediately and to contact their doctor immediately if they experience any side effects of the dietary supplement.

Last month, Venom Hyperdrive was among 25 different weight loss pills and dietary supplements which the FDA warned contain sibutramine, including 2 Day Diet, 3x Slimming Power, Fatloss Slimming, 5x Imelda Perfect Slimming, Lida DaiDaihua, 3 Day Diet Japan Lingzhi, 7 Diet Day/Night Formula, 999 Fitness Essence, 24 Hours Diet, GMP, Imelda Perfect Slim, Miaozi Slim Capsules, Perfect Slim 5x, Perfect Slim, ProSlim Plus, Phyto Shape, 7 Day Herbal Slim, Slim 3 in 1, Slim Express 360, Slimtech, Superslim, TripleSlim, Somotrin, 8 Factor Diet, Royal Slimming Formula, Zhen de Shou and Extrim Plus.

i have used this the first original then 1 yr after they replaced the name and ingrediend i lost 40lbs in one month and now its hard.

Took this back in 08-09 and I used to box competitively I went from 190 to 154 over about a 3 month period along with diet and two a days. I was at the top of my game with this stuff and I wish I could get some of the original formula , literally the best stuff ive ever taken.

Ok, so i went to the ACTUAL Fda website and there is no recall or warning listed on there about venom hyperdrive 3.0, OR hyperdrive 3.0.

Awesome stuff. Used it last year with L-carnitine and Guggul, and lost 75 pounds. Proper diet and excerise helped too. I HIGHLY recommend this stuff if you can get your hands on it. Try Ebay.

I used this pill in 2008-2009 for 6 months while getting ready for my wedding. I never had any side problems. Lost 25 lbs and was able to meet my goal for the wedding. Im sorry for those affected by it, but i have to say, it did not affect me. Since then, i gained a bit of weight and i am thinking of using it again. *But all these reports are making me think twice. I didnt see them back when i tried it before.

I purchased a bottle of this stuff back in 2007 or 2008, it worked extremely well and did what it was supposed to, but sometimes it would make my face feel kind of “tingly” and I almost knew something about it didn’t seem “right”. This was usually counteracted by drinking lots of water and sitting down for a while, but it doesn’t appear that any kind of permanent damage was incurred.

I used Venom on a daily basis from 2006 until 2008. I loved it. I had energy, was focused, and was able to work 2 jobs and attend school full time. However, in February 2008, I was hospitalized with heart palpitations and psychosis. I was initially placed on a 72 hour hold for my behavior, but was released about 38 hours into my stay because I clearly was not presenting danger to myself or others. The physician suggested that my behavior had direct correlation to the use of this drug.

When I took these pills is when I felt the best! I have a busy schedule which includes a 4 yr old, a husband, full time job and school. I was focused, made good grades, kept up w/ my child,lost weight and felt great! Iwish I knew where to find them again
