UPDATED:

AT&T Data Breach Class Action Lawsuits

In March 2024, AT&T admitted to a significant data breach that exposed the personal information of approximately 73 million users. In July 2024, AT&T announced a second data breach of phone and text message records for more than 100 million customers. As a result, individual claims and AT&T data breach class action lawsuits are being pursued against the carrier by current and former customers who may be entitled to financial compensation.

Evidence has become available that indicates AT&T was aware of the first data breach as early as August 2021, yet failed to take action to protect its customers sensitive information or alert regulators of the data exfiltration.

Individuals are now signing up for the AT&T data breach lawsuit against the telecom giant for failing to take appropriate action to safeguard their current and former customers’ data. The complaints emphasize AT&T’s delays in acknowledging the breach and notifying customers, which plaintiffs argue left personal data at risk for an extended period, increasing the likelihood of identity theft and fraud.

Who Qualifies for the AT&T Class Action Lawsuit?

To qualify for the AT&T data breach class action lawsuits, you need to be either a current or former AT&T customer whose personal information was compromised as a result of the data breach.

Individuals who have received a notification from AT&T about any of their personal information being stolen due to the recent data breach may be eligible to join the lawsuit.

To determine whether you or a loved one may be eligible for an AT&T data breach lawsuit settlement, submit information about your potential claim for review by a lawyer to determine whether a settlement or lawsuit payout may be available.

There are no fees or expenses unless a recovery is obtained in your case.

2025 AT&T Data Breach Lawsuit Updates: MDL 3114

March 4, 2025 Update: The AT&T data breach MDL continues to move forward, with the court granting a motion to set a deadline for filing the plaintiffs’ Consolidated Complaint. Plaintiffs must submit the complaint by March 31, 2025, which will outline the collective claims against AT&T and help shape the next phase of the litigation.

November 1, 2024 Update: A panel of federal judges has decided to consolidate all lawsuits over data breaches involving the cloud-based server company Snowflake as part of a single multidistrict litigation (MDL), which will include lawsuits against AT&T over the release of phone records and text messages of 110 million customers, as well as a Ticketmaster data breach involving personal information for more than 500 million individuals.

October 1, 2024 Update: The number of AT&T data breach class action lawsuits and individual claims continue to grow, as the JPML reported in its latest docket update that there are currently 71 claims pending in the AT&T Inc. Customer Data Security Breach Litigation

September 4, 2024 Update: Judge Brown issued a case management order appointing 11 attorneys to leadership roles, including a lead plaintiffs’ counsel, a liaison counsel, four for the Plaintiffs’ Executive Committee, and six for the Plaintiffs’ Steering Committee. These attorneys appointed to the AT&T data breach MDL will coordinate status updates, handle pretrial motions, conduct discovery and depositions on common issues, and potentially negotiate a settlement framework for the AT&T data breach claims.

August 12, 2024 Update: Following a second AT&T data breach announcement in July, the JPML has been asked to establish a separate multidistrict litigation for lawsuits over the AT&T wireless phone records leak, which involves a completely different security failure and may be centralized before a different judge in a different venue.

August 1, 2024 Update: In a case management order, Judge Brown announced she will be accepting applications from AT&T data breach attorneys to serve leadership roles in the litigation on the Plaintiff Steering Committee, which will take certain actions during the discovery process and pretrial proceedings that benefit all AT&T customers pursuing damages stemming from the data breach.

July 25, 2024 Update: As the the JPML works to transfer a growing number of data breach class action lawsuits to the newly established AT&T Inc. Customer Data Security Breach multidistrict litigation, Judge Ada Brown issued the first case management order on July 24, approving cases to be filed directly in the Northern District of Texas to promote efficiently in the litigation.

July 12, 2024 Update: In a report to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), AT&T has announced yet another massive data breach indicating that hackers obtained phone numbers and the private call records of around 110 million customers through a cloud-based server company known as Snowflake, Inc. The indicates that it does not believe the data has been released to the public yet, and that AT&T is working with law enforcement.

June 6, 2024 Update: The JPML issued a transfer order on June 5, announcing that all AT&T class action lawsuits and individual claims will be consolidated in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas under Judge Ada E. Brown for coordinated and consolidated pretrial proceedings. In the order establishing the AT&T Inc. Customer Data Security Breach Litigation (MDL 3114), the judges indicated there are currently 12 class actions filed in three different district courts nationwide, with another 18 similar cases pending in seven other districts.

June 3, 2024 Update: As many await the JPML’s decision on whether to consolidate the growing number of AT&T data breach lawsuits into a MDL, another AT&T class action lawsuit was filed by Tiffany Sutherlin in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri, claiming the company became aware of the massive leak in 2021, but denied the data breach had happened until March 2024.

May 1, 2024 Update: Following the recent motion to consolidate AT&T lawsuits, the JPML is scheduled to hear oral arguments on whether to centralize AT&T claims filed throughout federal district courts nationwide at an upcoming hearing session on May 30, 2024, at the Orrin G. Hatch U.S. Courthouse in Salt Lake City, Utah.

April 29, 2024 Update: Given common questions of fact and law raised in a growing number of AT&T data breach lawsuits, a motion to transfer was filed with the U.S. Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation (JPML) requesting that all claims filed throughout the federal district court system be consolidated for pretrial proceedings in the Northern District of Texas.

April 2, 2024 Update: Alex Petroski filed one of the first AT&T class action lawsuits in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas on April 2, claiming that the data breach was a direct result of AT&T’s failure to implement adequate and reasonable cyber-security procedures and protocols necessary to protect consumers’ personally identifiable information (PII) from a foreseeable and preventable cyber-attack.

March 30, 2024 Update: AT&T issued a press release regarding the data breach on March 30, disclosing that the 2021 data breach exposed the names, addresses, phone numbers, Social Security numbers, and email addresses of approximately 7.6 million current account holders and approximately 65.4 million former account holders.

AT&T Ignored Data Breach Warnings

AT&T first learned of the first data breach in August 2021, when the hacker group Shiny Hunters claimed to have accessed and intended to sell a database filled with sensitive customer data for approximately $1 million. Initially, AT&T disputed these claims, asserting that the leaked data samples shared by Shiny Hunters did not match their own records.

Instead of conducting a thorough investigation into the alleged breach and alerting customers and regulatory bodies as required by law, AT&T maintained that the breach claims were unfounded and did not notify its customers.

Almost three years later, a hacker known as “MajorNelson” publicly released the entire AT&T database for free on the dark web in late March 2024, exposing the names, addresses, phone numbers, Social Security numbers, and email addresses of approximately 7.6 million current account holders and approximately 65.4 million former account holders.

AT&T Admits to Massive Data Breach

After the data was released on March 30, 2024, a press release issued by AT&T admitted that the August 2021 data breach has exposed the names, addresses, phone numbers, Social Security numbers, and email addresses of approximately 7.6 million current account holders and approximately 65.4 million former account holders.

According to AT&T, the exposed data dates back to 2019 and earlier. However, the company has yet to identify the source of the unauthorized access to its systems that resulted in the massive exfiltration of customer data.

Despite the initial breach notification occurring years after the first alleged incident, AT&T has now begun sending Notice of Data Breach letters to customers with known compromised sensitive personal information. AT&T stated they are also offering complimentary identity theft and credit monitoring services to customers.

However, AT&T data breach lawsuits and class action claims seek additional damages on behalf of former customers raising allegations that the company failed to adequately protect consumer data, potentially leading to significant personal and financial harm for affected customers. Critics argue that despite the risks, AT&T might have prioritized the company’s commercial benefit over implementing more stringent security measures.

Second AT&T Data Breach Announced in July 2024

AT&T announced a second data breach impacting phone numbers and detailed call records of approximately 100 million customers on July 12, 2024.

The second AT&T data breach was reported to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), revealing that hackers accessed the data through a cloud server provided by Snowflake, Inc., a company that stores data for AT&T and other large firms.

In addition to the SEC filing, AT&T informed its customers of the breach via a press release, indicating the breach originated several years ago but was only recently discovered.

According to AT&T, the compromised data encompasses records of phone calls and text messages for nearly all its cellular customers from May 1, 2022, to October 31, 2022, and on January 2, 2023. The data includes interactions between AT&T mobile numbers and AT&T landline numbers during these periods.

What Information was stolen in the AT&T Data Breach?

AT&T’s investigation into the data breach has identified that hackers stole the following customer information;

  • Name
  • Mailing Addresses
  • Phone Number
  • Social Security Number
  • Date of Birth
  • Phone Records
  • Text Message Records
  • AT&T account number and passcode

How was AT&T hacked?

For the two AT&T data breaches, the first breach was caused by hackers who accessed customer data through a cloud-based server operated by Snowflake, Inc. This server hosted data not only for AT&T but also for other major corporations.

The second breach, which involved a larger set of customer data, was also attributed to hackers exploiting vulnerabilities in AT&T’s systems

AT&T Data Breach Risks to Customers

If your personal information was stolen during the AT&T data breach, a hacker could use such information against you for;

  • Identity Theft: With access to your social security number and other personal information, a hacker could potentially impersonate you to open new lines of credit, apply for loans, or obtain services in your name. This could damage your credit rating and cause financial loss.
  • Financial Fraud: Hackers might access and drain your existing bank accounts, or use your information to deceive financial institutions into giving them access to your funds.
  • Phishing Attacks: Using your personal details, a hacker could craft convincing phishing emails or messages that appear to come from legitimate sources. This can lead to further theft of your financial information or login credentials for various services.
  • Account Takeover: With detailed personal information, it’s easier for attackers to answer security questions or request password resets on your existing accounts, ranging from social media to financial services, leading to unauthorized access.
  • Tax Fraud: A hacker could use your social security number to falsely file tax returns in your name and steal tax refunds.
  • Medical Identity Theft: Using your social security number and other personal details, an individual could potentially receive medical care under your identity, which can lead to medical bills charged to you and could corrupt your medical records.
  • Utilities Fraud: The information could be used to set up utilities accounts (like electricity, water, and gas) in your name but at different addresses, possibly going unnoticed until debts are incurred.
  • Legal Implications: Should the hacker commit crimes using your identity, you could be implicated or need to prove your innocence.
  • Loss of Privacy: Knowing your home address and personal details, a hacker or malicious party could potentially harass you or even commit crimes such as stalking or burglary.
  • Long-Term Security Risks: Even after the initial breach and potential immediate misuse of your information, the stolen data could be sold on the dark web, leading to ongoing risks and threats.

AT&T Data Breach Lawsuits

In April, a motion to transfer was submitted to the U.S. Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation (JPML), requesting that all complaints filed throughout the federal district court system be consolidated for pretrial proceedings before one judge as part of an AT&T data breach lawsuit MDL (multidistrict litigation). The motion outlined the complexity of the breach and argues that consolidating the cases would help in managing the proceedings more efficiently, avoiding conflicting rulings, and easing the legal process for all parties involved.

The JPML heard oral arguments with the parties on May 30, and subsequently issued a transfer order on June 5, consolidating the claims in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas under Judge Ada E. Brown for coordinated pretrial proceedings.

Now that the MDL for the AT&T data breach lawsuits has been established, Judge Brown is expected to set a coordinated discovery schedule to investigate the release of customer information, possible preventive measures, and the duration of AT&T’s awareness of the issue.

Should negotiations fail to yield settlements for affected customers, the court may select a series of representative cases for early “bellwether” trials. These initial trials often provide insights into jury reactions to recurring evidence and testimony, influencing the broader litigation. If settlements are not reached during the MDL, individual claims may be sent back to their original U.S. District Courts for trial.

Allegations Raised in AT&T Lawsuits

The allegations raised in the AT&T data breach lawsuits focus on several key issues regarding the company’s handling of customer data:

  • Negligence: Plaintiffs argue that AT&T failed to implement and maintain adequate security measures to protect customers’ sensitive personal information. This negligence is believed to have facilitated the unauthorized access and theft of data.
  • Failure to Disclose Timely: There are claims that AT&T did not promptly notify affected customers about the breach, which potentially delayed individuals’ ability to take protective measures against identity theft and fraud.
  • Breach of Contract: The lawsuits also allege that AT&T breached their contractual obligations to customers by failing to adequately secure their personal data, which is typically stipulated in service agreements.
  • Unjust Enrichment: In some cases, the lawsuits accuse AT&T of unjust enrichment, suggesting that the company benefited financially from avoiding the costs associated with implementing adequate security measures.
  • Violations of Consumer Protection Laws: Some claims specifically argue that AT&T’s actions violated specific state consumer protection laws by failing to safeguard consumer data adequately.

Examples of AT&T Data Breach Lawsuits

AT&T Phone Records Breach Lawsuit: Dina Winger filed and AT&T phone records breach lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas on July 12, the same day the data breach was announced, seeking class action status to pursue damages on behalf of all affected customers. Winger claims she and other affected customers face an increased risk that they will suffer identify theft, fraud or even blackmail due to the theft of the personal information.

AT&T Data Breach Fraud Lawsuit: Stephen Head filed an AT&T lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas on May 14, seeking class action status to pursue damages for himself and approximately 73 million other customers similarly situated.

According to the complaint, days before receiving the data breach notice from AT&T, Stephen Head noticed unauthorized debit card use and subsequently encountered a scammer posing as his bank seeking to confirm sensitive information. He further identified that someone was able to obtain a fraudulent loan for $3,579 from Navy Federal Credit Union in his name. Head claims that upon contacting AT&T to seek compensation for his financial losses and inconvenience, AT&T denied his claim and told him they would not pay for his damages.

AT&T Data Breach Class Action Lawsuit: Alex Petroski filed a class action lawsuit against AT&T in the Northern District of Texas on April 2, 2024, alleging that AT&T failed to maintain sufficient cyber-security measures, leading to a data breach. He claims that AT&T recklessly handled personally identifiable information (PII), leaving it vulnerable to cyberattacks despite knowing the risks. The lawsuit contends that AT&T did not take necessary steps to protect sensitive data, exposing it to potential threats.

Sometimes I have been coming up short on my bank account, but could not find the money.

At&T inherited me over 20 yrs ago when Cingular was bought out – I do not understand how this mega dishonest company can operate in a lawful society. I have reason to join every lawsuit against them with plenty of supporting data to prove their treachery and over double charges with promises to fix my bill and give credits that never appear – they have double charged me for 3 phones paid cash for, changed my account more than double for years and charged twice for 3 iPhones already paid for then added extra access fees on top of it – average calls to Customer service are 6 hours with final promises that credits given and bill fixed but changes and credits are never applied. Then you get the 3 mo BS – “takes up to 3 mos to show on bill” – then 3 mos later “it’s been over 3 mos so we cannot do anything about this bill now” – I’ve called daily, weekly. Etc and spoke with Loyalty, Billing Managers, etc – I’ve gone into every AT&T store in a 25 mile radius of my home and have had Main store managers go over bill and tell me I’m being “screwed” and even their changes had no lasting effect. Recently I looked up lawsuits against them and have discovered I’m planning their game all along as I have experienced and am experiencing their unethical criminal practices

My Social Security number information was breached by the AT&T data breach

I don’t understand how our important information was stolen.

Jan 31, 2025 — I became aware of AT&T telecommunications experiencing two major data breaches in January and March, which affected its large customer base. I strongly believe that some or all of my personal information may have been compromised or accessed. Feb 3, 2025 — I received a call from a person who I thought was a AT&T worker, claiming that I qualify for a special promotion and would receive a free new cellphone with my trade-in. At the time, I had just paid off my phone and wasn’t interested in his off and hung up the phone. Now looking back, I now realize that call was the fraudster’s first attempt in getting be on board with their scam. Feb 13, 2025 — Ten days later I get another call from another individual claiming to be a promotional rep. for AT&T. He congratulated me on paying off my phone and wanted to offer me a new Galaxy S24 Ultra for free with trade in. He stated that all I would have to do is go to the AT&T store and pick up the phone and let him know when I return home, which I did let him know by text. So, he calls me back and immediately began to tell me that I picked up the wrong phone and therefore he will send me a UPS label to return the phone. I received the label via text and immediately went to the UPS store. The fraudster said that I would be sent the correct phone via overnight FedEx. *Note: During this whole process which lasted a few hours, there were 3 or 4 phone numbers that they would proceed to call me from. Feb 14, 2025 — Waiting for phone delivery, mostly all day. It never came. Feb 15, 2025 — After I realize the phone was not coming, I called AT&T customer service (800-288-2020) to find out why the delay. When I finally get a rep on the line, I informed her that I was waiting for my cellphone to be delivered and would like to know what is the reason for the delay. That is when she said to me that I could have possibly been a victim of a fraud scheme. She suggested that I get in touch with another department to see what to do. Feb 16, 2025 — I called that department, and they reviewed my account and confirmed that the phone that they had me pick up and send directly to them (fraudsters), has indeed been listed on my account. So, now I am charged for a phone that I don’t have and even worst this could all be the results of the AT&T data breach. March 29th — AT&T rep. recommended that I call AT&T Global Fraud. In talking with an agent, he directed me to a website link to start the process for filing a claim. I am now in the process of filing that claim with AT&T Global Fraud department.

I received a letter that said personal information given to AT&T in good faith that it would be protected has been compromised. I feel I am owed protection from any ill gotten activities that may become a result of this breech that AT&T did not protect me from.

MARVIN
I found out yesterday that someone had opened 2 accounts at BMO Bank under my name, Social security number and my phone number. I have been on the phone for 2 days trying to make sure that I have all my accounts freezed to limit what the low life can try to get from me. I called AT&T and they said it wasn’t their fault and more or less called me a liar about what I had told them about being hacked. They need to be held accountable for their actions. I have worked hard for what I have and I don’t want some thief to take what is mine.

Shawne
I experienced pin code, password changes, as well as access to all my emails and their passwords changed. My jobs were messed with so I looked inept. My healthcare was breeched as well as my computer, and WiFi. I had data that spiked to over 10,000gb, and I rarely if ever streamed or watched a movie. My cameras were accessed and I was not able to get the data so someone took pics from my cameras and now has personal info. HIPAA and FERPA were violated, as I worked as a licensed teacher and case manager. I was stalked and then after reporting many many times. I was arrested??! Tired of bad actors and worse who target innocent people causing damages to lives! I also lost my apartment, and am now homeless due to those who got my info illegally to target

jamie
Ive also been a victim of identity theft my info has been leaked 17 times and have had to close all of my accounts and some that were fraudulently opend I haven’t been compensated on time someone has taken over my identity and i5ts not far that qwe have to pick up the lost pecices these lawsuits are a joke hell I have thousands in loans credit card what are you going to do with millions when there’s hundreds of millions people affected

JoEl
I missed the deadline for getting represented by a group in this class action. The email response said “At this time, we are not looking for further class representatives; however, you will still be eligible to receive compensation from a potential class action settlement as an absent class member.” I did get a letter from AT&T, hopefully that makes me an “absnt member”. We have Lifelock. I have been told my email and other info is on the dark web. So far the only issues are daily calls with messages saying I qualifiy for a tax relief program. Hmmmm. Actually, we do not owe any. So all I can do is keep monitoring our personal info as much as possible.

Wilfreda
My personal information is now on dark web because of data breach

Angela
I do not feel companies should be able for force a customer into going “paperless” return for a monthly discount such as that AT&T bullies their customers into doing. There is a reason I do not feel in control of my personal financial matters because the truth is I am not. The sad thing is neither are the companies that we entrust to do this. It is not possible! Technology has become so advanced that it has gotten away from us. …straight onto the very hands of criminals. The amount of damage that can be done is infinitie and can never be contained. Why? Once information. Is on the internet, it will always be on the internet and “out there” with God only knows who doing God only knows what. We have no idea what technology eill be available in say 20 years and how it and our info can be used to victimize us. The financial problems for many now are unthinkable. Many criminals sit on information for years waiting for an opportunity. We have no way of even predicting the future damage that may be awaiting decades down the road. And why? Because companies wanted to go green, save trees, and forced us to do everything online and if we didn’t, pay a lot more than others with the same service. The number of data breaches is out of control. The government needs to step in and make these companies stop doing everything online. It would stop future breaches. We didn’t have this problem 20 year ago and everyone faired just fine.

Brandon
I get at least 50 to 60 calls all day and night asking me personally questions asking I am this person and we have you information we need you to verify this and verify that but I always say I am not that person once I hang up there is another person calling asking the same questions just saying they have a different name it is crazy that they can let this happen to you and look the public in the face and say no it didn’t come from up and don’t want to help or compensate you for that wrong doing that happen to you it is but they are ready to ask for you SSN to run a so CALL soft check on yo credit to see if you can get the service they are offering but won’t protect your account and personal information when they get it…

At & T and T-mobile wireless, Mint Mobile Wireless, Straight Talk Wireless also are guilty of the fiasco of stealing the consumers personal Identity

Patricia G
A private personal data compromised. I have a freeze on my credit file but received notices that my SS number had been compromised in Brazil with drugs. Out-of-state persons who don’t want to be identified are constantly harassing me to purchase home; home warranty companies and car warranty companies all want to sell me their products. I have been a loyal customer with AT&T since 1978 [Bellsouth & AT&T. My bill is over $450 per month. My emails are horrendous daily, spam, advertisements, x-rated solicitations. You name it, I am getting it. It is totally frightening. I contacted AT&T to see if my personal information could be deleted on dark web. They said they are unable to do so. Companies need to stop hiring 3rd parties. I realize bottom line is profit, but these data breaches are bringing havoc in our personal lives. Technology is not safe anymore,.

Pamela
It’s a awful feeling to think someone could be using your information fraudulently and that it could come back on you. I already have Chronic Anxiety and PTSD. I really don’t need this right now. I don’t know why companies don’t get the top notch security system when they are handling someone’s information. They should be made to destroy anything from previous customers that have canceled service with them and not hang onto their personal information. This is really bad for a company not to handle sensitive information with more care.

Angelique
i have in a total of 24 credit pulls This year alo. I would like to formally express my concern regarding the recent data breach at AT&T, which has impacted numerous customers, including myself. As a result of this incident, my personal information was compromised, leading to unauthorized access to my bank account funds and all my credit cards and I still havent been reimbursed. I was not able to pay my bills so I had to deal with creditors, threatening to sue me and threatening to repossess my cars My kids cars, my boat. I had to file debt resolution, and my credit score is horrible now. I think AT&T needs to compensate me.

Liz Cardillo is my wife . Due to her depression formed from these invasions in our lives I try to do the communication for her. If need to speak to her I will get her available.

I HAD SO MANY FEATURES ORDERED IN MY NAME, PHONE #, AND OTHER PERSONNEL INFORMATION. BUT WHEN I TRIED TALKING TO THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE. THEY ACT LIKE THEY DIDN’T KNOW NOTHING. THAT GORS THEIR FRAUD DEPARTMENT. TURNED OUT THAT THEY OWE ME MONEY FOR THE DEDUCTION OF THE FAKE FEATURES THEY CLAIMED I ORDERED. THEY PUT ME AND MY WIFE IN A FINANCIAL HARDSHIP DURING THIS TIME (COVI-19). I DID REPORTED THEM TO THE FEDERAL COMMUNICATIONS COMMISSION, SINCE THEN THEY HAVE NOT CONTACTED ME AGAIN. THEY BILLED ME OVER $2,000 AFTER I CANCELLED MY SERVICES, BUT THEY OWED ME PROBABLY THAT, OR I FIQUIRED AT LEASE OVER $800 THEY OWE ME.

I found out my information is on the dark web site and that it was there because of an at&t breach. This was from 2019. I’ve had money taken out of my account by someone in the last 60 days for about $500. I was notified by IRS that someone was using my SS to get a check from the pandemic. I have filed a stolen identity paper work after the Irs notice only to be told 6 months later my case was closed because I didn’t report anything else happening Now all this is happening and I’ve paid for the extra security from AT&T since they started it.

Michael

I’ve had to change my credit card number several time that is with my bank. I also keep getting spam calls whereas before I hardly ever receive them. I kept my number very private for it is my only form of contract.

Robert
One morning I received notification that my bank account was being charged several transactions from Ticketmaster and a fast food restaurant. I was shocked watching this take place in real time so I immediately called my bank and I also called At&t knowing full well that At&t was the only company that I used my debit card online. My bank immediately closed my account. The At&t representative assured that it has nothing to do with them. I said okay but I knew then as I know now that it has everything to do with them. That’s my story.

Janie
I have had my bank account hit several times in last 3 months. Now I know why because I have not been on any sites requiring me using my debit card except a secure site!!!!! Now I know why this happened to me!!!!

I was a customer with AT&T for years. I just stopped being a customer this year May2024 . I was getting spam emails spam text messages spam calls credit score went way down. Att is not a good service provider like they use to be 🙄

Jason
Been a customer for 20 years, worked for them 12 years .. AT&T knows social engineering goes on and don’t try to stop it , I was on the task force and told them how to stop it and was fired for it

Lynae
This isn’t the first time with them for me. Last time I was constantly getting Robo calls. This time I’m getting so much spam email and I’ve had 3 attempts to open bank accounts under my name with my social. It’s horrible.

DENSON
All my accounts are hacked. Can’t believe it at&t supposed to have a security measure to prevent this from taken place but nope ..

Jodi
I was notified when I logged into my account with Capitol zone Credit. CreditWise showed my credit score which to my utter shock had dropped 103 points in one day. I then checked the log of breaches that CreditWise supplied me and there were 19 breaches. Most are my social security number being stolen, old home addresses, phone numbers, email addresses and passwords. I never received an email from AT&T nor anything in the mail that I’m aware of. I am devastated. I am trying to build my credit close up and have been successful and now I am below what I have ever been. I’m devastated and don’t know what to do next. Also, my AT&T account online has also been compromised. I cannot view anything. It’s telling me I have NO accounts with them but have been with them for over 16 years now.

Cheryl
They stole my social security number took out credit card and froze my computer. Hacked into Facebook people made several accounts. Got into my transunion account. So had to put lite freeze on my accounts. It’s ridiculous. They need to get a real job instead of stealing other peoples credit and ruining it. It ruins a person credit. Makes me so mad.
