About 26,000 Husqvarna hedge and grass trimmers have been recalled after reports suggest they may leak fuel, posing a fire and burn hazard for consumers.
The Husqvarna trimmer recall was announced by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) on April 4, after the manufacturer, Husqvarna Professional Products Inc., received at least seven reports of fuel leaks. There have been no injuries reported.
The CPSC has determined that the hedge and grass trimmer fuel leaks may occur because of a rubber spacer holding the fuel lines in the fuel tank.
