The KTM ATV recall applies to 2008 model year KTM 450XC and 525XC ATVs, and 2009 model year KTM 450XC, 525XC, 450SX and 505SX ATVs.

According to a recall notice posted by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and KTM North America, Inc. on February 10, 2009, the KTM ATV’s rear brake caliper support could crack and the front brake operation could experience a loss of pressure.
