I am a disabled woman who had Never owned a nice big set of pots/pans. I’m fighting for disability for over 3 years, This Time. I have no money coming in. I have Many illnesses. I bought with every penny I was given for Christmas plus sold my personal household items to have almost $200 for big set, plus my fiance bought me the largest skillet and glass lid for $59.97 before taxes to match my Paula Deen red speckled set. I babied my set extremely! Hand washed always, only used the 2 Paula Deen cooking utensils enclosed with my set plus I purchased more Paula Deen cooking utensils, which was very expensive also. Within 1month, the non-stick Teflon and Perfluorooctanoic Acid was coming up in big spots all over insides of All of them. As I said I’m very sick, Doctors will not even allow me to substitute teach no more or nothing. For over 3 years this time I’m only allowed up 15 minutes a day , only 4 days a week. Except to go to restroom, or Dr appts, and I have no insurance at all. I’ve contacted Paula Deen in 5 different ways, and received not No kind of response back. Mine were purchased at Wal-Mart, of course they would Not refund due to hundreds, thousands of same issues as mine. So Walmart removed them off their shelves and said customers will have to contact Paula Deen or company who made them. I’ve done both. Nothing was responded back to me. The aluminum has been linked to cancer and early onset Alzheimer’s. If you look up these Paula Deen pots/pans sets and all of them, you will see VERY MANY people with exact complaints as mine. And the Lifetime warranty is a joke as everyone says. People such as myself Do Not have the money to mail in all these at their expense. It’s as if Paula Deen doesn’t care about her devoted followers or her Very bad reputation these pure junk sets have caused , let alone, Many have tried contacting in many ways same as myself and did not get no response either. She had a wonderful reputation with what others thought a great Southern hospitality. She Obviously does Not care about making none of these right. I have no money to barely eat, let alone buy more cookware and pay sky-high to send it all in . I’m not going to stop until this situation is corrected, whether it takes a lawsuit, or getting on news channels with others. Her not making this situation right by everyone when there are many hundreds of people ALL making the same exact claims, and the Lifetime warranty, everyone now thinks as I do, she’s a joke and a CROOK who needs to make right or be made to face the consequences. She should stand behind her products, and she is NOT AT ALL in ANY WAY. PLEASE HELP US, they were not cheap, and money doesn’t grow on trees. People work long, hard hours for little pay but didn’t mind paying more for what we all thought would be well worth the money for the many years of continued use of products. Please help us. THE COPPER BOTTOM OF MY SKILLET TOTALLY MELTED TO LIQUID WHEN I LIFTED THE PAN OFF THE STOVE THE BOTTOM FELL ON THE FLOOR & SPATTERED LIKE OIL ON A SKILLET ! DAMAGED MY FLOOR MY STOVE & BURNED ME!
